surreal

My Europe trip was phenomenal..

simple amazing..

and one of my favourite was the sistine chapel.. it was unbelievably gorgeous! Michelangelo's a true genius.. to be able to create such beauty that embodied history, religion and his own interpretation.. *breathless*

and all the art museums.. i swear i was in paradise! I couldn't get enough of all the oil on canvases.. Was going around like a nerd with pen and paper in my arms frantically copying down notes and listening and replaying the audio guide..

I fell in love with the 18-19th century art all over again..

some things that europe inspired me to do:

- read the bible
- read about the renaissance
- read about classicism, neoclassicism, romanticism, impressionism, cubism and surrealism.
- pick up my brushes and paint...
